This page contains some questions, frequently asked by Q2 clients, along with our answers.

Q: Where did Quadrant 2's name come from?

Q: What project development methodology does Q2 use?
A: Q2 has a depth of experience in running projects. Over their individual careers, Q2 staff have used a wide range of methodologies such as Microsoft Solutions Framework (MSF), PMBOK and Prince. All Q2 staff are happy to use any of these methodologies. Alternatively Q2 staff are adaptable enough to use an in-house methodology preferred by a client. Where Q2 has been employed to lead a project, and the client does not have a preferred project development methodology, Q2 staff adopt MSF as a recognised and accepted project development methodology.

Q: Does Q2 have a preference for particular IT solutions?
A: Q2 is solution agnostic. We like to think of ourselves as a conduit through which the client's dreams may be realised. Individuals within Q2 have used a wide variety of IT solutions and banking applications. In each case, Q2 like to treat the client's requirements as the blueprint, and adapt the solution to suit these requirements.

Q: Do Q2 staff work on the client site?
A: It is common for Q2 staff to work on client site for the duration of a project. However, depending on the project requirements and client preference, Q2 staff can also work off site.

Q: What contract does Q2 use?
A: Q2 provides a no-nonsense contract to its clients. Alternatively Q2 will consider signing a client’s standard contract.
